Lina and I spend the weekend at my parents' house. Lots of studying (and some test knitting) for me and lots of exploring for Lina. She managed to open a drawer, climb in and close it. She looked rather grumpy when we opened the drawer, hah!
She also helped me study (her favorite activity is laying down on my hand while I'm writing), watched my mom quilt (a long arm machine seems to be rather fascinating - from all perspectives). She really enjoys having a huge home as her 'territory' and she gets along with my parents' cats quite well. She claimed one of the couches as her own and enjoys getting lots of attention :)

Lina always has a really intense expression. She must be scary smart to hide herself in a drawer like that!
ReplyDeleteI knooow, she has big eyes that always make her looked scared in pictures; I can assure you she's the most curious and adventurous cat I've ever seen - she doesn't mind loud noises, parties where 15 strangers invade her home and unknown territories. Her intelligence can be scary sometimes...
DeleteThat's so fun that your kitty traveled with you! I don't know how well my little guys would handle it-- they're so attached to each other that they scream if they have to be in separate carriers. And that Malabrigo is beauuuutiful.
ReplyDeleteShe didn't like car rides when I got her but when I took her to my parents'(it's only a 10 minute drive) she wasn't very upset and the minute I opened the carrier she jumped out and checked out the big houses and the two cats my parents have. She seems to have a pretty good memory and she really seems to appreciate exploring new territories and getting out of this small apartment from time to time :)
DeleteThe Malabrigo yarn is a dream!!! It knits up beautifully and it's very soft! I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive! haha
This cat is adorable and has the cutest expression!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vera :) Your cat photos are the cutest, I wish you could come over to take some cute pictures of Lina! haha
