52 Craft Projects

52craftprojects2013 I'm happy to announce that this year I set myself the goal to accomplish 52 craft projects. I loved the 52 Knits project from last year but I feel bad because I've neglected my sewing machine. Also, I'm taking up a new hobby: spinning! So expect some spinning and yarn dying adventures on the blog this year.

I've been thinking about 'rules' that I should stick to but for now I'm just hoping to create 52 things this year. I still need a bunch of home decor stuff for my apartment and I've been wanting to sew a dress for years. So I'm (hopefully) gonna tackle that this year. And have I mentioned that I have a cute jelly roll that I've been wanting to use for a quilt?

Of course I'll still knit a bunch this year (I already started my first project of the year... a daybreak shawl!). But having a broader goal gives me sooo many possibilities. I'm excited!

So hello 2013, let's hope for a fun and productive year. Let's roll!

    1. Thank you so much for stopping by, Johanna. I checked out your blog; I love the minimalistic design! I don't understand much (I started learning finnish like... 8 years ago? But I gave up after about a month or two :D) but it's awesome that you're doing the project 333. I'd never be able to just pick 33 items that I'm gonna wear...

  2. I am so impressed! Can't wait to see what you make. My goal I think will be 12 sewing projects because I just got a sewing machine for the first time. I am not quite as crafty as you, yet!

PS. I am curious where you live in Germany. My little sister lives in Dusseldorf. :)

    1. Yay for getting a sewing machine! Have fun with your new best friend ;)
I live in a city called 'Göttingen'. It's right in the middle of Germany, close to Hanover! Düsseldorf is a nice city, I've only been there once but I really liked it :) If you're ever planning to go to Germany shoot me a message and I'll give you some advice on craft stores etc.

    1. Yes, I'm so excited! Do you have any advice on which dyes work well? I wanted to order some the other day but I was overwhelmed by the huge selection!
